This is a study for an acorn shaped lamp design. This design will be made of glass and wood. The wood bottom resembles the acorn cap. The acorn cap has a bark structure on the outside. The glass resembles the nut. The glass consists of two parts a milk white part that diffuses the light and a transparant part that aims the light. The bottom of the lamp should be a made flat so the lamp can stand on its own. The diameter of acorn lamp would be about 20cm. So it is a very small lamp, just like acorns are.
Note: This is one of many studies for a lamp design. I have more ideas then I can eventually produce in reality. So I just share them for inspiration.
