Recently, I decided to turn a misprint of my circus-themed artwork into an opportunity for connection and fun. The piece, featuring a ballerina on horseback approaching a red-and-white striped circus tent under moody skies, became the centerpiece of an exciting giveaway.
Rather than simply picking a random winner, I created a virtual race tournament using claude.ai. Twelve art enthusiasts entered the contest, and their names were transformed into virtual racers, each with their own unique racing style and color. Some were fast starters who slowed down near the finish line, while others gained momentum as the race progressed.

The tournament consisted of three rounds – qualifying, semifinals, and finals – mirroring the journey of a performer preparing for the big show. Just as our ballerina in the artwork makes her way down that dusty path toward the circus tent, our virtual racers competed for their chance to claim the piece.

What made this giveaway special wasn’t just the prize itself, but how it brought together a small community of art lovers in a moment of shared anticipation and fun.
